Maine is a top wedding destination. From it's beautiful coastline to it's tallest peak, it's well-known for it's elegance, rustic charm, and beauty. As a wedding videographer, I've explored nearly every corner while filming and crafting wedding films. Many of the state's venues are rich in history, while others boast stunning views. It's really hard for me to narrow down my favorite venues because I simply love so many of them. Here is a list of my personal favorites wedding venues in Maine.

Maine's highest peak, Mount Katahdin, provides the most stunning view as it reflects on Millinocket Lake. This elegant backdrop will sweep you off your feet. With rustic cabins to get ready in and a beautiful ceremony on the point overlooking the mountain, it's the perfect spot to tie the knot. While your guest are partying away under the tent, the bride and groom can sneak away for some gorgeous photo and video with the most glorious, buttery sunset you have ever seen in your life. This venue is in a more remote location, tucked away in Northern, Maine but don't let the location throw you off, because you can enjoy a tented reception, delicious food from the restaurant, and and a view that your guest will be probably not stop talking about.
This is a charming farmhouse and barn tucked away near the White Mountains, only one hour northeast of North Conway. I've had the opportunity to film here in the summer. You can live our your dream of walking amongst a lushes flower garden and marrying the love of your life just down the path in a dreamy, outdoorsy spot in the forest. This venue is dog friendly, so you can have your pup bound down the aisle toward you on your special day. Also, you can't forget to go just down the road to a cornfield with the most epic views of the White Mountains. There is ample space to get ready, including a bridal suite with wonderful natural light for those gorgeous photos.
Marry among the pines and then have the most incredible time with your loved ones in this beautifully restored barn and farmhouse. With rolling fields, a lovely barn, and the the most charming bridal suite, you'll find yourself right at home in rural Maine. This one is close to where I grew up. The couple that owns the venue are the nicest people and have invested so much time and love into bringing their vision to life. Also, can we talk about the stunning sunsets in the field beyond the pines? This barn wedding venue is a great location to host larger wedding, with a great expanse of property and a large barn.
The sweet scent of blossoming flowers will greet you as you walk toward the quaint red barn at this charming, Maine venue. I feel like I'm walking through a fairy garden every time I visit, admiring the beautiful lights and authentically restored barn. Behind here, you can walk down across a lawn to a gorgeous and open ceremony spot. I have filmed here in both summer and fall and it's equally elegant and cozy every time.
